Embroidered Canvas
Tote — Large
A large tote in fully embroidered cotton canvas, a blue and ecru toile pattern, unlined and structured.
Eight hundred and fifty grams for a bag 42 cm across.
Embroidered, not printed
The pattern here is stitched through the canvas rather than printed onto it, which is why it has depth from an angle and why it will not fade or crack at a fold. It is also why the bag holds a square shape with no lining and no frame — the embroidery itself stiffens the cloth.
Cotton canvas, fully embroidered
It has a durable cotton canvas embroidered across its whole surface in a blue and ecru pattern, unlined inside, light and structured.
Two sturdy handles have a height of about 16 cm, for a hand or shoulder carry, and the whole bag weighs about 850 grams. There is no closure: it is an open tote.
How it carries
- Two handles, height approx. 16 cm
- Hand or shoulder
- Unlined and structured — no frame needed
- Approx. 850 g
- Room for a laptop
The product
Exterior: embroidered cotton canvas. Interior lining: unlined, light and structured. Two sturdy handles, height approx. 16 cm, for hand or shoulder carry. Width 42 cm, height 35 cm, depth 18.5 cm. Weight approx. 850 g. Room for a laptop, cosmetics, wallet, smartphone and sunglasses.

Offered in a blue and ecru embroidered pattern.
Why it costs what it costs
Embroidering a whole panel rather than printing it costs many times more in thread and in machine time, and the pattern has to register across the side seams so the design runs round the corner without a jump. That registration is the hard part, and it is the first thing a cheap version gets wrong.
