Canvas and Leather
Shoulder Strap, 25 mm
A shoulder strap on its own: 85 cm of canvas and calf leather, 25 mm wide, on two clips.
This one is the strap. No bag is included.
The cheapest way to make one bag into three
A strap changes how a bag is worn far more than anything else you can add to it. Twenty-five millimetres is the width that carries weight without digging in and still reads as a strap rather than a harness.
Canvas over calf leather
It has a canvas body combined with a fine calf leather, with metal clips at both ends in a gold or palladium finish.
It is about 85 cm long and 25 mm wide, adjustable, and it clips on and off, so it can be moved between any bag with matching fittings.
How it carries
- About 85 cm long, adjustable
- 25 mm wide — carries weight without digging in
- Metal clips at both ends
- Gold or palladium finish
- Moves between bags with matching fittings
The product
Canvas combined with fine calf leather. Metal clips in a gold or palladium finish. Width approx. 25 mm. Length approx. 85 cm. Adjustable, usable as a shoulder or crossbody strap. Compatible with various bag models.
One strap
Offered in canvas with calf leather, on metal clips in a gold or palladium finish.
Why it costs what it costs
A strap takes the entire load of a bag through two small points, which is why the failure on a cheap one is always at the clip rather than in the middle. Canvas over leather is the combination that carries that load without stretching the way a plain leather strap does.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
