Gathered Pouch
A gathered vegan leather pouch on a thin crossbody cord, with no hardware on the body. Six colours.
A gathered body with a knotted cord at each end.
No frame, no clasp, no logo
The whole bag is one gathered panel with a cord knotted through each end. There is nothing else on it — no clasp, no stud, no plate — so the shape it makes when you set it down is different every time.
Shown here in white. Six colours are offered.
Gathered body, knotted cord
The body is vegan leather gathered along the top so the bag folds in on itself, in that dumpling shape.
A thin cord runs from a knot at each end, long enough to wear across the body.
How it carries
- A gathered body with no internal frame
- A thin cord for a crossbody carry
- No hardware anywhere on the exterior
- A shape that folds flat when it is empty
- Six colours on the same build
The product
Vegan leather in a crossbody handbag with a dumpling bag design, made for everyday wear, errands and meeting friends.
Six colours are offered at checkout.
Six colours
Listed at checkout as White, Black, Green, Khaki, Brown and Red. The gather, the cord and the lining are the same in all six.
Why it costs what it costs
A gathered panel uses more material than the bag it makes, and the gather itself has to be set by hand along the top edge so it falls evenly rather than bunching at one end.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the bag
- A gathered body rather than a stitched frame
- No hardware to scratch or tarnish
- A cord long enough for a crossbody carry
- Six colours at one price

1 × Olivia Gathered Pouch
How big is it?
It is a small crossbody pouch.
Does it close properly?
Yes. It gathers shut along the top.
Is it real leather?
No. It is made in vegan leather.
Which colour is the safest choice?
Black. The white is the one that shows marks first.
How should it be cleaned?
A damp cloth and then a dry one, following the gather rather than across it.
Six colours, held in a small run
This is stocked in small quantities rather than carried continuously. When a colour goes it is not automatically repeated.
Pick your colour above and add it to the bag. If it is not right, send it back.
