The weave is the whole design
Most woven bags use thin strips, which reads as texture. This uses panels wide enough that you count them — three across, two down — so the weave becomes the structure of the bag rather than a finish applied to it. Everything else is left plain on purpose.

Wide panels, plain everything else
The body is vegan leather cut into wide panels and woven across the front, the back and the sides. There is no hardware on the outside, no logo plate and no external pocket.
The handles are short and sit on top rather than dropping from the sides, so the bag is carried in the hand or hooked over a forearm.

Why it costs what it costs
Wide panels are less forgiving than thin strips: every join is visible, so the cut has to be exact and the tension has to hold across a much larger piece.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this bag and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
