Contrast-Trim
Polo Shirt
A short-sleeved piqué polo with a contrast placket and contrast cuff bands. Eight colours.
The contrast is on the placket and the cuff. Nowhere else.
A polo is a shirt collar on a knitted body
That is the whole trick, and it is why a bad one curls at the collar after a wash. The collar has to be knitted separately at a tighter gauge than the body so it holds a point; a polo knitted all in one piece never does.
Piqué body, banded cuffs
A summer polo with a classic design, suitable from the golf course to a relaxed evening out and comfortable in heat.
It has a short two-button placket lined in a contrast colour, a matching band at each cuff, a ribbed collar and a small embroidered motif at the chest. Eight colours are offered.
How it wears
- A ribbed collar that holds its point

The product
A sporty polo, timeless in design, comfortable in warm weather, versatile from the golf course to a relaxed evening, and suited to both casual and semi-formal settings.
Eight colours
Navy, white, black, green, red, blue, grey and sand, each with its own contrast trim. Check the options above for what is in stock.
Why it costs what it costs
Every contrast on this shirt is a separate piece of cloth cut, matched and sewn in: two placket facings, two cuff bands, a collar. That is five extra operations on a garment that could have been made with none, and it is the only reason a plain polo and this one are not the same price.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the piece
- A collar knitted separately from the body
- Contrast placket and cuff bands
- Eight colours, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
