Three-Block
Knit Jumper
A ribbed knit jumper blocked in three horizontal bands, with a wide neckline and dropped shoulders. Eight colourways.
Three bands, and the sleeve picks up the darkest of them.
Blocking is how a plain knit gets a waist without a seam
Put the palest band at the top and the darkest at the bottom and the eye reads the jumper as shorter through the body than it is. Nothing is shaped, nothing is seamed — the whole effect comes from where the yarn changes.
Ribbed knit, three bands
This soft knit sweater is flexible, comfortable for all-day wear, classic in design and breathable.
It is a ribbed knit blocked in three horizontal bands, with the sleeves picking up the darkest band, a wide neckline that sits off the shoulder line, dropped shoulders and ribbed cuffs and hem. Eight colourways are offered.
How it wears
- Three horizontal blocks through the body
- Sleeves in the darkest of the three
- A wide neckline off the shoulder line
- Ribbed cuffs and hem
- Eight colourways

Why it costs what it costs
Every band on this jumper is a yarn change carried across the full width of the panel, and the joins have to land at exactly the same row on the front and the back or the block steps at the side seam. It is a planning cost rather than a material one, and it is entirely invisible when it is done right.
