Striped
Tiered Sundress
A strappy tiered sundress in a vertical stripe, with a straight neckline and side pockets. Two colourways.
The stripe runs vertically. Each tier is cut so it stays that way.
A vertical stripe fights a tiered skirt
Gather a striped panel and the stripes bunch. This dress keeps them straight by cutting each tier so the gathers fall between the stripes rather than through them — which means the stripe width, not the designer, decides where the fullness goes.
Straight at the top, full at the hem
A sleeveless summer dress in a lightweight, breathable fabric, handmade and suitable for warm weather.
The dress photographed has fine adjustable straps, a straight neckline over a shirred back, a fitted bodice, pockets set into the side seams and a skirt released into tiers to the ankle. Two colourways appear in the gallery.
How it wears

Why it costs what it costs
Matching a stripe across three tiers means each tier is cut from a different point on the roll and lined up by hand before it is sewn. It wastes cloth, and it is the only reason the stripes on this dress carry down the skirt instead of stepping at every seam.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the piece
- Stripes matched across the tiers
- Pockets set into the side seams
- Adjustable straps over a shirred back
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
