A long double-breasted coat with a notched lapel, patch pockets and a self-tie belt. Two colours.
The belt is cloth, not leather. It ties rather than buckles.
A cloth belt is the only one that can be worn undone
A buckle has to be fastened or it hangs badly and swings. A self-tie belt in the same cloth as the coat can be knotted, threaded loosely or left open at the back, which is why an oversized coat almost always uses one.
Lapelled, belted, patch-pocketed
Sizes run S to 2XL in an oversized fit, and the coat is elegant, versatile and built to last.
The coat photographed is double-breasted with a wide notched lapel, dropped shoulders, large patch pockets at the hip, a self-tie belt at the waist and a length below the knee. Two colours appear in the gallery.

Why it costs what it costs
A coat this long is cut in two enormous front panels, and an oversized fit means there is no seam shaping to break them up. Every fault in the cloth is on show across a metre of flat surface, which is why the length itself is most of the cost.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
