Contrast Sleeve
Denim Jacket
A zip-front jacket with a denim body, contrast knitted sleeves and buttoned chest pockets. Seven pairings.
Denim body, knitted sleeves. Two cloths, one garment.
Two cloths on one garment is a joining problem, not a design one
A woven denim body and a knitted sleeve move at completely different rates. The armhole seam has to hold both without the knit stretching out of the join, which is why most jackets simply use one cloth throughout.
Woven body, knitted sleeves
This denim blend jacket is versatile from daytime outings to evening wear, combining classic design with a modern cut.
It has a denim body, contrast knitted sleeves, a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, a zip front, two buttoned flap pockets at the chest and two open pockets at the hip. Seven body-and-sleeve pairings are offered.
How it wears
- A denim body with knitted sleeves
- A ribbed collar, cuff and hem
- A zip up the front
- Two buttoned flap pockets at the chest

A versatile wardrobe staple pairing with any outfit, combining classic elements with contemporary design, comfortable in fit and suited to both casual outings and sophisticated evenings.

Why it costs what it costs
Ribbing at the collar, cuff and hem means three separate knitted pieces attached to a woven shell, each one set on under tension so it pulls in without puckering. It is four operations a plain denim jacket never has to pay for.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
