Pocket Midi Dress
A sleeveless midi dress with a fitted bodice, a gathered skirt and side pockets. Three colours.
Pockets in a dress this shape. They are set in the seam, not patched on.
A gathered skirt lives or dies on where the gathers stop
Gather the cloth evenly all the way round and it adds width at the front, which is the last place anyone wants it. Concentrating the fullness at the sides and back is more work at the waist seam and is the difference between full and simply wide.
Fitted above, full below

Why it costs what it costs
A pocket hung inside a gathered skirt has to be bagged out and caught into the waist seam, or it swings forward and shows through the front of the dress every time the wearer moves. Most dresses at this price simply have no pockets.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the dress
- Pockets set into the side seams
- Fullness concentrated at the side and back
- Three colours, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
