Short-Sleeve
Pocket Maxi
A short-sleeved maxi dress with a seamed waist, a gathered skirt and side pockets. Nine colours.
Pockets deep enough to actually put your hands in.
Where the waist seam sits decides the whole dress
Set it at the natural waist and the dress reads fitted. Set it slightly above and the skirt starts higher and reads longer, which on a dress falling to the ankle is the difference between graceful and shapeless.
Seamed at the waist, full below
This casual dress is effortlessly elegant, flattering in fit, versatile from day to evening and handcrafted with attention to detail.
The dress photographed has a round neckline, short set-in sleeves, a seam above the natural waist releasing a gathered skirt, pockets set into the side seams and a length to the ankle. Nine colours appear in the gallery.

Why it costs what it costs
Nine colourways means nine separate dye lots, nine minimum fabric orders and nine sets of stock that may not sell at the same rate. It is the least glamorous cost in the whole garment and the one that decides whether a colour exists at all.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the dress
- Pockets set into the side seams
- A seamed waist rather than a plain drop
- Nine colours, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
