Barrel-Leg
Cropped Jeans
High-waisted jeans with a curved barrel leg, seamed panels and a cropped hem. Six washes.
The leg curves out at the thigh and back in at the ankle. That is the whole shape.
A barrel leg is built from curved seams, not wide ones
Making a trouser leg bow outwards and come back in means cutting the side and inside seams as curves and easing them together, because one edge is longer than the other. A straight wide leg has none of that.
Curved through the leg, cropped at the hem
The denim is a soft stretch, comfortable and versatile, with a wide-leg cut and a roomy fit.
The jeans photographed have a high waistband with belt loops, five pockets, a leg that curves out through the thigh and back in above a cropped hem, and seamed panels running down the front. Six washes appear in the gallery.

Why it costs what it costs
Seamed panels down the leg are what hold a barrel shape in place. Each one is an extra seam to sew, press and finish, and every one of them has to line up across the pair or the two legs bow differently.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the pair
- A leg shaped on curved seams
- Seamed panels holding the shape
- Six washes, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
