High-Waisted
Corduroy Trousers
Corduroy trousers with a high waist, front pleats, slant pockets and a turned cuff. Ten colours.
Pleats from the waistband. They give the hip room without adding it at the waist.
Corduroy is cut like a pile fabric, not a plain one
The wale runs one way and catches the light one way, so every panel has to be laid out facing the same direction. Nest them head to toe to save cloth and one leg reads darker than the other in daylight.
Pleated at the waist, turned at the hem
Retro corduroy trousers, vintage in feel, flattering through a high-waisted cut and practical through convenient pockets.
The trousers photographed have a high waistband with a button and belt loops, pleats released from the waist at the front, slant hand pockets, a relaxed leg and a turned cuff at the hem. Ten colours appear in the gallery.
How they wear
- A high waistband with belt loops

The product
Blending vintage allure with modern flair, elegant and sophisticated, versatile from casual outings to semi-formal events, with a flattering high-waisted cut and convenient pockets.
Ten colours
Rust, green, mustard, grey, black, pink, blue, olive, brown and cream. Check the options above for what is in stock.
Why it costs what it costs
Corduroy in ten colours means ten separate dye lots of a pile cloth, and pile takes dye unevenly compared with a flat weave. Holding the same shade across a whole run is the part that decides whether a colour ever gets made twice.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
- Sold direct — no retail margin stacked on the pair
- Panels cut with the wale running one way
- Pleats rather than a flat front
- Ten colours, one style
- Seven calendar days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn and in its original condition.
