Knotted-Waist
Tiered Mini Dress
A wrap-front mini dress with a knotted waist and a two-tier ruffled skirt. Seven prints.
The knot is sewn, not tied. It sits in the same place every time you put it on.
A tiered skirt on a printed cloth has to be cut print by print
Each tier is a separate ring of fabric gathered onto the one above it. On a printed cloth the two rings have to be cut so the motif does not stack into a stripe where they meet, which means the marker is laid differently for every print in the run.
Wrapped at the front, gathered at the waist
It has a fitted bodice with a flared skirt, versatile between formal and casual, timeless in design and made from high-quality materials.
The dress photographed wraps across the front to a V neck, gathers into a knotted detail at the waist and falls into a skirt of two gathered ruffled tiers, with wide three-quarter sleeves. Seven prints appear in the gallery.

Why it costs what it costs
Seven prints is seven separate cloths, each one cut, gathered and matched on its own. It is the part of a dress like this that never appears on the label and always appears on the bill.
We sell direct. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a piece like this is simply not in the price.
